Additionally, the mineral composition of Granite/Marble is primarily composed of high-temperature resistant minerals such as quartz, feldspar, and mica, which are not prone to decomposition or phase transformation at high temperatures, thus ensuring the stability of Granite/Marble's overall structure. Scientists have found in experiments that when subjected to high temperatures (e.g., 500-700°C), although Granite/Marble may exhibit phenomena such as increased volume, reduced mass, and decreased elastic modulus, its overall structure remains significantly intact. This is mainly attributed to the tight arrangement and strong binding force between mineral particles inside Granite/Marble, allowing it to maintain good mechanical properties and structural stability at high temperatures.
