Why the precision of granite/marble platform can not reach 000 level?
 

As we all know, granite/marble platform is a benchmark tool with high precision in the market for inspection and measurement. In addition to its processing technology being artificially developed, there is an important point that it has stone material.
 

The granite/marble platform is made from naturally formed granite materials.

Among the stone materials used for making platforms, "Jinan Qing" is considered the best.

Before 2015, most of the granite/marble platform stones on the market were "Jinan Qing," due to its high density and resistance to wear, which resulted in higher precision in the processed granite/marble platforms. After mechanical processing and manual grinding under conditions of constant temperature, dust-free, and vibration-free environments, the precision can reach Class 000.

Due to the high precision of granite/marble platforms, they are highly favored by users, leading to significant annual sales. As sales increased, more stone was consumed, causing an over-exploitation of "Jinan Qing" stones.
After intervention by relevant authorities, the mining of "Jinan Qing" stones was halted.

Stone materials are no longer allowed for mining, but in industrial production, the use of granite/marble platforms remains unchanged. Manufacturers have to resort to other stone materials for production. After extensive research on various stone materials, it was found that "Zhangqiu material," "Fujian material," and others can all be used to produce granite/marble platforms. Although their density is lower than that of "Jinan Qing," they are still comparable in other aspects, so people began using these materials for the production of granite/marble platforms.

These stone materials are also naturally formed, but their density is less than that of "Jinan Qing." Therefore, even under conditions of constant temperature, dust-free, and no vibration, the precision of the marble platform produced cannot reach 000 grade; it can only reach 00 grade under constant temperature conditions.
